Folding earplugs unveiled

By General Aviation News Staff · June 9, 2006 ·

Hearing protection company Howard Leight has debuted PerCap, the only folding banded earplugs available in the personal protection equipment market. A semi-aural protector, PerCap’s soft polyurethane ear pods seal the opening of the ear canal and offer lower attenuation.

PerCap’s multiple-position band can be worn under the chin, over the head and behind the neck. Optimal attenuation, NRR 21, is obtained when PerCap is worn under the chin, and NRR 20 when worn properly in the two alternative positions, providing protection for many workplaces.
