Hartzell Scimitar propeller conversion STC’d for Pipers

By General Aviation News Staff · June 9, 2006 ·

Professional Pilots Inc. has introduced a new generation propeller option for all PA-32 aircraft. STC approval has been received for the installation of Hartzell’s new Scimitar propeller design on any 300 hp., non-turbocharged, Cherokee Six, Lance, Saratoga or Piper 6X. The new blended airfoil design provides the best performance available in all flight spectrums, according to officials at Professional Pilots Inc. In addition to the increased performance from these propellers, the swept tip design reduces cabin and fly-over noise levels.

The propeller is designed as a direct replacement for any standard two- or three-bladed propeller.

Introductory price is $8,900, which includes the propeller, spinner and STC paperwork. All propellers are shipped new from Hartzell and have a full factory warranty.
