New hangars built at Palm Springs

By General Aviation News Staff · June 23, 2006 ·

Aviation Development Group LLC recently completed construction of 16 executive hangars at Palm Springs International Airport (PSP), with a completed value of almost $4 million.

Designed to utilize all the services of the nearby Signature Flight Support FBO, access to the community is via a gated, private entrance. The project features extra-wide ramp areas and private parking.

All of the hangars were sold prior to completion. The hangars, which are designed to house everything from piston engine to mid-size jet aircraft, range in size from 60 feet by 60 feet to 65 feet by 60 feet. They include standard amenities like rough-in plumbing for a bathroom/shower, metal halide lighting, floor drains, electric bi-fold hangar doors and insulated walls and roofs.

The company is now building 41 hangars at Chino Airport in Chino, Calif. Construction is expected to be complete in March 2007.
