Contract fuel authorizations now online

By General Aviation News Staff · July 7, 2006 ·

Schedulers, dispatchers and pilots now can create online authorizations for Commercial Contract Fuel purchases at Avfuel.com.

There are now three ways to purchase Commercial Contract Fuel from Avfuel. Present a Commercial Contract Fuel Card for authorization at the point of purchase, call Avfuel ahead of the flight to arrange a specific fueling, or authorize a fuel purchase online.

A dispatcher or pilot can log onto Avfuel.com, go to the Commercial Contract Fuel section, and click online authorization. This directs them to the Contract Fuel purchase form on which the pilot designates the destination, aircraft, gallons and date. Clicking the “done” button will immediately send it to the FBO. A copy is sent to the user’s home fax, email, hotel room or PDA.

Commercial Contract Fuel Card holders receive a discount on fuel at more than 600 participating locations in the United States, Canada, and Mexico.
