Conquer the night

By General Aviation News Staff · July 21, 2006 ·

Imagine this: It is a moonless night and you are flying over a featureless desert, surrounded by mountains, and things go black. You can fumble around for an old flashlight, or you can conquer the night with FLITELite, a new high intensity light source that snaps onto your headset mic.

Touch it once and FLITELite will beam bright where you want it. Touch it again for lower intensity and once again to turn it off – or simply wait, FLITELite will auto off in one minute.

Developed by Momentum Interactive with assistance from NASA and Master CFIs, the FLITELite was engineered for hands-free operations. It incorporates a LiteDetect sensor to shut itself off in bright light, saving precious battery life so it is there when you need it most.

FLITELite will make its debut at Oshkosh. If you’re not going to the big show, go online by Aug. 1 and you can order yours with the special show pricing, which includes free shipping.
