PartsBase introduces silent online aircraft parts auctions

By General Aviation News Staff · July 21, 2006 ·

PartsBase, Inc. introduces its online “e-Silent auction.” The e-Silent auctions provide the opportunity to sell large aviation surplus inventories via a closed email bidding system on the PartsBase.com website.

The first of several planned auctions, held in late June, featured a large lot of Boeing, McDonnell and V2500 engine parts, airframe, rotables and expendables from an airline. The next auction, held in July, featured military specification (mil-spec) aircraft parts.
