Goodrich Aviation namedColumbia repair center

By General Aviation News Staff · August 4, 2006 ·

Goodrich Aviation Maintenance Center at the Tri-Cities Airport in Endicott, N.Y. has been certified as a Columbia Authorized Repair & Maintenance Associate (CARMA) by Columbia Aircraft Manufacturing (CAM) in Bend, Ore. Goodrich Aviation operates the only CARMA center in upstate New York.

The Goodrich Aviation Maintenance Center can now install the new E-Vade De-Icing systems on Columbia Aircraft. The E-Vade system uses a Kelly Aerospace manufactured electric-current conducting film that’s applied to the leading edge of the wing and tail and literally sheds ice during flight. There are just 11 E-Vade centers in the entire country.
