New Sport Pilot fly-in takes off next onth

By General Aviation News Staff · August 4, 2006 ·

The Sky Bryce Airport (VG-18) in Virginia will become a sea of Light Sport Aircraft activity Sept. 16-17 when the first-ever Mid-Atlantic Light Sport Aircraft Show kicks off.

All 34 of the FAA-certified Special Light Sport Aircraft (SLSA) have been invited to the show, which is sponsored by Bryce Mountain Resort and Mid-Atlantic Sport Planes. The show will include fly-bys of each participating SLSA, as well as a massive group fly-by twice each day, according to Jim Pellien of Mid-Atlantic Sport Planes. “What better way to comparison shop for the Light Sport Aircraft of your dreams?” he says.
