Aerosim releases Cirrus avionics systems trainer

By General Aviation News Staff · August 18, 2006 ·

Aerosim Technologies has released its interactive, scenario-based training software package for Cirrus SR20/22 aircraft.

The software features a series of guided lessons integrated with simulation to create a fully interactive training environment. The lessons, developed by Cirrus instructors, cover cockpit overview, single pilot resource management, systems training (PFD, MFD, GPS, autopilot, transponder, audio), and malfunctions training.  In addition to the guided lessons, the program features training flight scenarios, evaluation flight scenarios and free-play flights.

“This software is ideal for the individual pilot looking to become proficient with the technology in today’s technically advanced aircraft,” said Joe Hartman, of Aerosim Technologies. “It really makes the advanced avionics easy to learn and understand – glass technology made crystal clear.”

Price: $495.
