Galvin adds to its fleet

By General Aviation News Staff · September 8, 2006 ·

Galvin Flying Services at Boeing Field in Seattle has added two new aircraft to its fleet: a Lear 55B jet and a Bell 206 B-III helicopter.

The Lear 55 is a seven-passenger aircraft configured in a luxurious executive style, complete with satellite telephone service, an enclosed lavatory and recently updated weather and traffic avionics. Hourly rate is $2,300.

The Bell 206 helicopter also sports an executive style interior, but can handle utility type flying missions such as aerial photography, property scouting or transportation to locations not served by fixed wing aircraft. It is capable of flying three passengers in air conditioned comfort at 115 MPH. It is also equipped with pop-out floats, certifying it to travel over water. Hourly rate is $850.
