Grumman F-14 Tomcat: “Bye-Bye Baby”

By General Aviation News Staff · September 22, 2006 ·

The F-14 Tomcat will be retired from service, with a final farewell this month. A new book, “Grumman F-14 Tomcat, Bye-Bye Baby!” celebrates the plane, with photos of the F-14, along with quotes from the “Tomcatters” who knew it best.

Compiled by Dave Parsons, George Hall and Bob Lawson, the book is available in bookstores for $40.

A custom boxed and numbered special edition also is available for $275. There are only 712 books available, representing the number of Tomcats built. Each book has its own Bureau Number. A “Bye-Bye, Baby” patch is included.
