New Hobo Pendant G records “gee!” forces

By General Aviation News Staff · September 22, 2006 ·

Onset Computer Corp. recently unveiled the Hobo Pendant G Logger, an easy-to-use data logger for measuring and recording tilt, orientation, activity and motion.

Roughly half the size of an iPod Shuffle, the Hobo Pendant G makes it easy and fun to record data in any environment, from G forces in an airplane or roller coaster to measuring activity patterns of people and pets.

The Hobo Pendant G incorporates a state-of-the-art, omni-directional accelerometer and onboard memory capable of storing 64,000 measurements.

It also provides a convenient, direct-USB interface for linking to a computer, and works with HOBOware Lite, a graphing and analysis software package.

Introductory price (through January 2007): $99. Price will then increase to $139.
