Pilots can earn additional AVTRIP points by purchasing pilot and aviation merchandise at Hangar63.com, an online store that carries an extensive inventory of items from Jeppesen, Garmin, Bose, Telex, Motion Computing, ASA, as well as a variety of pilot supplies, training aids, cockpit accessories, apparel, safety products, children’s items and gifts.
AVTRIP members just need to enter their AVTRIP number during checkout and receive 1 point per $1 sale (excluding tax, and shipping charges). Points are credited towards U.S. Savings Bonds or international equivalents. To kick off this program, double points will be issued until January 2007.
