Airguide Publications presents Flight Guide Online, a new full service flight tool.
Flight Guide Online gives pilots the ability to locate airports by searching in-depth airport data, services, fuel prices, food, transportation and lodging, recreational information and much more, Airguide officials say. Clear and concise airport diagrams and airspace graphics and photos can be enlarged and printed in various sizes. Airport data and diagrams are updated daily by Airguide’s team of researchers, which helps ensure access to airport information that is more current than a printed source.
Other features include “Pilot Chatter,” a message board for pilots; “Pilot Logs,” which gives members the ability to log their flights and compute totals, which can then be printed and used for personal record keeping or to apply for a renewal of a medical certificate or aircraft insurance policy; “Airport Notes,” a section that allows you to keep private comments, pertinent information, or even a favorite restaurant or hotel, attached to a particular airport for future reference.
A basic flight planner, courtesy of FlightPrep, makers of ChartCase Professional, is included in the member service. As an add-on feature, members can subscribe to FlightPrep’s full-featured electronic charts, interactive flight planning, and weather service.
