New goggles fit right over your prescription glasses

By General Aviation News Staff · November 3, 2006 ·

Uvex has launched its new Uvex Strategy Goggle, which fits over most prescription eyewear, providing protection in the harshest environments.

The goggle’s lightweight body is composed of soft, flexible thermopoly elastomer that conforms to the face, unlike other products that use rigid polyvinyl chloride. Four models are available to suit a variety of working conditions, including direct vent, closed vent, indirect vent and indirect vent with foam-lined vents for fine particle protection. Each model offers a snug seal and superior protection against impact, chemical splash, dust, sand and debris. In addition, the goggle features polycarbonate lenses for excellent peripheral vision and added security. Lenses also are available with anti-fog coating to minimize fogging in hot, humid environments.
