New tower hours at Florida’s Kissimmee Gateway Airport

By General Aviation News Staff · November 17, 2006 ·

Kissimmee Gateway Airport (ISM) in Florida has permanently extended its control tower hours. New hours are 7 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily.

ISM is the closest general aviation airport to the Orange County Convention Center, Disney World and other area attractions. It accommodates general aviation air service 24 hours a day with two paved runways, 5,000 and 6,000 feet each.

The airport also offers full-service FBOs, flight training, aircraft storage, aircraft restoration, P-51 Mustang pilot training and T-6 Warbird adventure flights, and an industrial park. Built in 1942, the airport is owned and operated by the city of Kissimmee.
