Garmin G1000 DVD updated

By General Aviation News Staff · December 1, 2006 ·

“Flying the Garmin G1000” has been updated to highlight recent enhancements to Garmin’s popular avionics system, including the optional traffic advisory system (TAS) and Columbia Aircraft’s integration of the Garmin autopilot with the G1000.

This DVD shows what it’s like to fly with the Garmin G1000 integrated glass-panel avionics system as you ride along with Richard Collins in a G1000-equipped Cessna 182 and a Columbia 400. Collins demonstrates how the system operates and how to best use the system both in the air and on the ground.

The DVD includes a section explaining the use of the active traffic advisory system (TAS) that is optional with the G1000, and how this technology differs from Traffic Information Service (TIS).

Price: $24.95.
