Mid-Continent unveils “ultimate” turn coordinator

By General Aviation News Staff · December 15, 2006 ·

Mid-Continent Instruments recently unveiled what it is calling “the ultimate version” of the turn coordinator.

The 1394T100-10RB is a direct replacement for more than 6,000 Cessna autopilots in field, while the 1394T100-7B replaces most standard three-pin turn coordinators. Certified to FAA TSO C3b and DO-160C environmental standards, the units are approved to 35,000 feet and feature a warning flag that indicates correct rotor speed and power input. They also feature an auxiliary digital rotor speed output for field diagnostics and an RFI filter to eliminate radio interference.
