Race City Heliport opens

North Carolina Rotor and Wing and Race City Helicopters have teamed to create and operate Race City Heliport in Landis, North Carolina, located about 25 miles northeast of Charlotte-Douglass International Airport just outside Kannapolis.

Todd Henrikson, president of North Carolina Rotor and Wing, will offer flight training using Robinson R-22 and R-44 helicopters. He also operates a flight training program in Louisburg, North Carolina.
