CAF’s 50th anniversary rally coming up

By General Aviation News Staff · June 22, 2007 ·

The Commemorative Air Force will celebrate its 50-year anniversary with a National Patriotic Rally, set for July 9-11, in Las Vegas.

Registration for this once-in-a-lifetime event is open to the public, but space is limited. CAF officials expect 1,000 to 3,000 people to attend the rally.

Keynote speakers are Lt. Col. Oliver L. North, a combat-decorated Marine and the host of “War Stories” on the Fox News Channel, and Michael Reagan, a radio personality who is President Ronald Reagan’s son.

Other speakers include military analysts, former CIA operatives, a panel of Iraq veterans, a panel of women who served in World War II and automotive legend Carroll Shelby.
