International Women’s Air and Space Museum introduces collectible cards

By General Aviation News Staff · December 7, 2007 ·

Just in time to be a Christmas stocking stuffer, the International Women’s Air & Space Museum in Cleveland, Ohio, has introduced a collectible deck of playing cards celebrating the achievements of women in aviation and space.

Many of the photographs used to create the cards are pulled from the museum’s archives and depict famous women aviators, including members of the Women’s Airforce Service Pilots (WASP), Amelia Earhart, Bessie Coleman and Eileen Collins.

The deck includes 52 standard cards, plus three wild cards. Each card also includes a historical fact about the subject.

The decks sell for $10 each.
