The Western Museum of Flight recently moved to the Torrance Municipal Airport (TOA), also known as Louis Zamperini Field, in California.
The museum specializes in the history of aerospace technology development, with particular emphasis on the origins and growth of the industry in southern California. Aircraft displays, photographs and other historical documents and materials are on exhibit.
The museum also has a cadre of volunteer docents and educators, who provide guidance and training for young people and anyone interested in aviation or a career in aerospace, according to officials.
