Careers in Aviation announces $2,500 scholarship from Flightline Group

By General Aviation News Staff · May 28, 2008 ·

Careers in Aviation has received a $5,000 donation from the Flightline Group.

The donation will assist in general support for the organization, and more importantly, toward the establishment of a Flightline Group, Inc. Scholarship. The $2,500 scholarship is designated for a potential or current student pursuing a career in aviation, who expresses a need for financial support to complete training or education.

“We are pleased to have the opportunity to contribute to Careers in Aviation,” said C. Daniel Langston, Flightline Group president. “At Flightline Group, we look to partner with organizations who support individuals who dream of a future in aviation. We are proud that the Flightline Group Scholarship will assist a bright, hardworking, and determined person to realize his or her dreams of flight or aspirations of other aviation-oriented career paths.”

For further information, students should refer to the Careers in Aviation website at www.careersinaviation.org. The precise details and requirements are posted along with the scholarship application.
