Mooney names two new regional sales directors

By Janice Wood · October 14, 2008 ·

Mooney Airplane Co. has tapped veteran pilot and aviation sales executive Stan “Skip” Feher as its new regional sales director in the Pacific Northwest, while it has named Long Beach entrepreneur Jennifer Mitchell regional sales director for California.

An ATP and CFI with more than 5,000 hours of flight experience, Feher also is listed as the inventor on the U.S. patent for Sundstrand’s Airborne Flight Information System (AFIS), which has been installed on hundreds of business jets. In addition, he has experience as a director of flight operations, an airline pilot, and a charter pilot who flew tours with Fleetwood Mac, the Beach Boys, and John Denver.

Feher, who will be headquartered in Ravensdale, Wash., can be reached at 425-677-5335 or [email protected].

Mitchell, a Long Beach-based entrepreneur and a pilot, was recently featured in Mooney advertisements.

She is also an ultrasound equipment sales professional and licensed sonographer who uses her Ovation 2GX to conduct business at hospitals and imaging centers statewide.

“We featured Jennie in our ads because she is a successful small business operator who uses her airplane effectively and a highly effective salesperson, as well. Since the ad began running, she has done an exceptional job of assisting us in promoting our aircraft and it just became more and more obvious that she would be a valuable addition to the Mooney sales team,” said Rick Neely, senior director of sales. “California is an extremely important market for us and we now have someone who can not only ‘talk the talk,’ but ‘walks the walk,’ when it comes to demonstrating the economy and versatility of Mooney airplanes,” he added.

Mitchell is based in Long Beach and will be hosting an Open House on Oct. 18. She can be reached at 323-788-2341 or at [email protected].
