The 11th Annual Academy of Model Aeronautics 2009 Expo, featuring radio-controlled model airplanes, helicopters, trains, cars, boats and more, is slated for Jan. 9-11 at the Ontario Convention Center in Ontario, California.
The three-day expo, open to the public, provides a display of the latest products for the modeling enthusiast and activities, such as flying demonstrations, model rocket and plane build-and-fly stations and an interactive model race car track and boat pond.
Kids and teens 18 years old and under who are in Boy Scouts, Civil Air Patrol, Jr. ROTC, Navy Sea Cadets or related organizations and in uniform are admitted free. Children under 6 are free.
