Banyan taps Barron for North American sales

Banyan Air Service, based at the Fort Lauderdale Executive Airport (FXE), recently appointed Alvie Barron director of North American sales.

Barron has more than 20 years of aircraft maintenance, refurbishment and modification experience. He previously held positions with Jet Aviation, General Dynamics, Bombardier and Hawker/Beechcraft.

In his new role at Banyan, he is responsible for promoting Banyan’s avionics and maintenance departments, which includes maintenance services, including heavy airframe maintenance and engine maintenance, structural repairs and modifications, and avionics installations and support.

Banyan avionics and maintenance departments specialize in King Air, Citation, Hawker, Learjet and Pilatus aircraft. In addition, the avionics department provides services for other mid-sized aircraft and larger aircraft, such as Gulfstream, Falcon, Bombardier and Boeing aircraft.
