Phillips 66 adds to FBO network

By Janice Wood · January 26, 2009 ·

Phillips 66 Aviation has added four more FBOs to its network of branded dealers.

Phillips 66 now has more than 622 FBOs across the country, according to officials at the Houston-based company.

Famous for its Historic Aircraft Restoration Museum, Creve Coeur Airport (K1H0) near St. Louis is now a Phillips 66 Aviation FBO. Charles Lindberg’s Timm Collegiate is based there, along with one of the largest collections of flying antique, classic and sport aircraft in the world.

Beatrice Municipal Airport (KBIE) in Beatrice, Neb., also has become a Phillips 66 Aviation fuels FBO. The southeastern Nebraska airport offers pilots two runways, one 5,600 feet long and the other 4,400 feet.

Near the Canadian border at the scenic northern tip of Idaho lies another new Phillips 66 Aviation dealer, Silverwing Flight Services at Sandpoint Airport (SZT) in Sandpoint, Idaho. Sandpoint Airport sports a 5,500-foot long asphalt runaway at an elevation of 2,100 feet.

The Andalusia Airport Authority (K79J) in Andalusia, Ala., also has joined the Phillips 66 Aviation network.
