Embry-Riddle launches new program

By Janice Wood · January 29, 2009 ·

Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University-Worldwide has launched a new program designed to stimulate collaborative innovation across the aviation and aerospace industry.

Called the i2i Program, the program offers a different way for firms to share innovative solutions to common problems in the industry.

The i2i Program consists of three parts. The first includes a series of forums, small professionally facilitated meetings of industry professionals that convene periodically to share best practices and solutions in areas predefined by the participants. Six to eight i2i forums will be held in a variety of locations each year.

The second part of the program involves the i2i Leadership Award, designed to recognize leaders in management innovation. Nominations will be solicited once a year, and winners will be selected by a panel of industry experts. Each winner, in turn, will be invited to participate in the third step of the process, the i2i Annual Roundtable.

The i2i Annual Roundtable provides a platform for the winners of the i2i Leadership Award to present their stories to a broader audience. This event is also used to present a summary of key findings from the i2i Forums throughout the year.
