Neighborhood Appreciation Days at Virginia Air & Space Center

By Janice Wood · February 3, 2009 ·

The Virginia Air & Space Center at Hampton, Virginia, will hold Neighborhood Appreciation Days, February 22 through March 1. During the event, all York County and Poquoson residents will be admitted to the Center free of charge, according to Megan Steele.

The free admission includes the new hands-on traveling exhibit called “Risk!,” 10% off in the Imagination Station One Stop Science Shop, 10% off in the Cosmic Café and $10 off Family Memberships. York County and Poquoson residents must provide proof of residency. The Center’s IMAX films are not included in the free admission, Steele said.
