L.J. Aviation expands

By Janice Wood · February 4, 2009 ·

L.J. Aviation recently completed a new state-of-the-art hangar at its headquarters facility at Arnold Palmer Regional Airport (LBE) in Latrobe, Pa.

The $2 million hangar will allow the company to store eight additional aircraft, according to company officials, who note the company is at “maximum capacity” with 31 aircraft its fleet and more than 100 employees at eight locations.

The company also is adding three new aircraft in the first part of 2009 – a Challenger 300, Hawker 900 XP, and King Air C90 Gti, according to Ed Kilkeary, Sr., president and CEO.
