Baldwin Aviation, which developed SMSplus, a web-based safety management and monitoring program for fixed wing and helicopter flight organizations, and CAP Aviation Consulting Group (CAPACG), providers of Flight Data Monitoring (FDM), have teamed to offer the “Power of Plus,” a safety management and flight data monitoring package.
“Our SMSplus is an on-line, turnkey program that focuses on human factors and procedures and helps flight departments develop a specific safety management program that’s tailored to their specific needs,” said Don Baldwin of Baldwin Aviation. “CAPACG provides a complimentary service that concentrates on collecting, managing and analyzing flight data.”
CAPACG’s FDMplus program dovetails with SMSplus, monitoring pilot performance by measuring adherence to Standard Operating Procedures and aircraft limitations, according to Baldwin.
