Classic Fighters of America to hold formation clinic

Classic Fighters of America are planning to hold a Formation Clinic in California, March 20 to 22. In addition to fighters of all kinds, T-6s, Yaks and T-28s have been invited, according to Julie Clevenger of CFA, which will be the event’s host and sponsor.

Briefings, ground school, luncheons and parties will take place in the CFA hangar at Ramona, California (KRNM). The formation clinic is intended to provide proficiency, practice and upgrade, Clevenger said. Check pilots will be available from NATA and TRARON. Pilots must be current members of the signatory organization whose FAST card is requested.

Clinic Schedule:
Thursday 19th: Early arrivals, registration, Cocktail party;
Friday 20th: Arrivals, registration, ground school, practice flying, Luncheon;
Saturday 21st: Ground school, practice flying, check rides, Luncheon, Dinner party;
Sunday 22nd: Flying, Check rides, Luncheon.

Chuck Hall Aviation will be providing the fuel at a competitive Warbird discounted rate.
