EFB for King Airs approved

By Janice Wood · February 24, 2009 ·

Hawker Beechcraft Services has developed a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC) to install DAC International Inc.’s Gen-X Electronic Flight Bag (EFB) to King Airs.

The STC covers the King Air 90, 100, 200, B200, 300, B300 and 1900 series of aircraft – including the C90GTi, B200GT and 350.

The system has the capability to store and display technical information, electronic charts, graphical weather and a host of other aircraft applications, including infra-red enhanced vision, according to company officials. Operators will have a choice between JeppView or Maptech electronic charts, XM or WSI graphical weather, as well as the Hawker Beechcraft electronic technical publication library.
