‘Paper Airplane Guy’ at Evergreen Aviation & Space Museum

By Janice Wood · February 26, 2009 ·

John Collins, knowjohn4n as the Paper Airplane Guy, will present a special demonstration and sign books on Saturday, Feb. 28, at 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. at the Evergreen Aviation Museum in McMinnville, Oregon.

The presentation is free with museum admission.

Collins, who has been featured on CNN, Discovery Channel’s “Next Step” and CBS’ “This Morning,” can create paper airplanes with landing gear, some circle back, some are canard designs, some flap their wings and some fly for a half hour or more. His books, “Gliding Flight” and “Fantastic Flight,” which will be available for purchase and autographing, document a number of his paper airplane designs.
