Buying and flying your own airplane

By Janice Wood · March 10, 2009 ·

Premier Aircraft Sales, Inc. is teaming up with Air Orlando Aviation to host a one-day “Buying and Flying Your Own Airplane” presentation and open house Saturday, March 14, from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Orlando Executive Airport in Florida.

“I get calls from people who are interested in learning to fly, or buying their own airplane, but just don’t know where to start. This event will answer all of their questions and more,” said John Painter, CEO of Air Orlando.

The event will provide a wide range of information, including: How an airplane can save time and improve business; new 2009 tax laws that let you write off more of a new aircraft this year; how to get the best financing and insurance rates; details about individual, partnership and fractional ownership options; and benefits of leasebacks and managed aircraft programs.

Introductory and demo flights will be available.
