Hawker Beechcraft appoints Petkus vp of engineering

Hawker Beechcraft Corporation (HBC) has appointed Edward Petkus vice president, product development and engineering.

Petkus, who has served as acting vice president, engineering, since December, joined the company in 2007 after 16 years at Boeing. He has a bachelor’s degree in aerospace engineering from the University of Michigan and a master’s in aeronautical engineering from the University of Washington. He also completed the Advanced Management Program at the Harvard Business School.
