Air BP slates training seminars

By Janice Wood · March 16, 2009 ·

Air BP’s Safety and Quality Control Seminars offer airport personnel, QC, QA, pilots and corporate flight departments the opportunity to learn safety regulations through class-room education and hands-on experience.

Trainers Walter Chartrand and Dave Ware of Air BP present an in-depth look at current safety rules and regulations.

The two-day seminar is free to all Air BP branded dealers ($595 for other attendees).

Topics include: Risk Management, FBO Operations & Line Service Training; Fuel Quality Control Field Testing & Proper Receipt Procedures; Fuel Specifications, Distribution & Filtration; Misfueling Prevention; Fuel Farm & Refueler Preventative Maintenance; Ramp Safety & Security Training; and 14 CFR Part 139 Section 321 Fire Training.

The seminars are complemented by Air BP’s Online Training Program. The online educational series is designed to engage and educate through graphics, real world scenarios, testimonials and day-to-day situations, officials said.
