Supporters of a concept to establish an educational “air camp” intended to attract children to careers in aviationhave an advantage: prior proponents have already laid groundwork.
The business leaders, educators and aviation enthusiasts pushing the idea of a camp that would be based in Dayton, Ohio, are building on preparatory work done in recent years, said Thomas J. Lasley II, a current backer who is dean of the University of Dayton’s School of Education and Allied Professions.
