New owner and name for flight school

By Janice Wood · March 24, 2009 ·

The former Pan Am International Flight Academy in Phoenix has new owners and a new name: TransPac Aviation Academy.

The aviation academy, which has been in operation in Phoenix since 2001 and is located adjacent to the Deer Valley Airport, enrolls approximately 450 students annually from all over the U.S. and across the globe.

TransPac offers 12-18 month programs to everyone from beginners and high school graduates to experienced CFIs and veteran servicemen and women who have recently separated from the military. TransPac Aviation Academy’s Career Pilot Program for veterans is approved by the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs.
