SAFE now accepting members

By Janice Wood · March 26, 2009 ·

safe-logo-cThe Society of Aviation & Flight Educators (SAFE) is now accepting regular and charter memberships.

Regular membership is $45 per year and includes participation in the organization’s governance, a member business link on the SAFE website, members-only access to key resources and materials on the SAFE website, access to the Master Instructor accreditation program (including the CFI renewal option), as well as a variety of other member programs currently under development.

In addition to the benefits of regular membership, charter members receive a certificate of appreciation and SAFE apparel. Four tiers of charter membership are available: Bronze ($100), Silver ($250), Gold ($500), and Platinum ($1,000).

Prospective members can join by filling out a form and paying with credit card directly on the SAFE website. For those who prefer to mail a check, membership forms are available for download.

SAFE also will be signing up new members at Booth #E56 near the FAA Pavilion during Sun ‘n Fun.

Currently, members are voting to elect the initial board of directors. Members have until April 3 to cast their ballots via the SAFE website.
