Fat Gecko camera mount debuts

By Janice Wood · April 2, 2009 ·

Delkin Delkin Devices Inc. introduces Fat Gecko camera mount.

The Fat Gecko is a dual suction cup mount that enables aviation enthusiasts to create videos of their flying for training, business, legal reasons or fun. The suction cups enable the Fat Gecko to attach to the inside of any window, windshield or non-porous canopy. It is removable and can be placed in any location that is out of the way to capture video inside or outside the cockpit, including landings and takeoffs.

The Fat Gecko camera mount is non-permanent, leaves no marks, and has a universal attachment tripod type mounting post for all major brands of video, point and shoot and digital SLR cameras. The double knuckle feature allows the camera to be right side up, even when the mount is attached to the roof or side window of the plane.

Price: $89.99.

A FLIR mounted this way might be handy.
