SimCom launches cost saving Citation course

By Janice Wood · April 7, 2009 ·

SimCom Training Centers now offers customers a cost-saving option for the Citation Single Pilot Training course.

The program is FAA Part 142 and insurance industry approved and eliminates the requirements to take a check ride in the aircraft. Training is conducted at SimCom’s training center in Orlando, Fla.

“All training, including the initial check ride, will be conducted in either our Citation II or Ultra Level C simulator,” said Wally David, president and CEO. “Utilization of a simulator is clearly safer than in-aircraft training, and for today’s budget-conscious pilot, it saves the expense and inconvenience of using the customers aircraft for the check ride.”
