Parade of Planes goes to the Midwest

By Janice Wood · April 15, 2009 ·

Executive Beechcraft at New Century AirCenter (KIXD) at Olathe, Kansas, will be host to the ongoing Parade of Planes event in the Midwest May 14 to 16.

“Finding the right location is one of our biggest challenges,” stated Randy S. Bolinger of AMPT Associates, organizers of the events. “Our mission is to make it convenient for consumers in the market for a new aircraft to visit a regional location where they can compare many of the most popular new models side-by-side. That, of course, requires a significant amount of ramp space for an FBO to allocate to Parade of Planes without interfering with their normal daily operations. Executive Beechcraft has everything we need including a desire to host the event.”

The final Parade of Planes events are scheduled for Gwinnett County Airport/Briscoe Field at Lawrenceville, Georgia, August 13 to 15, and Hayward Executive Airport, Hayward, California, October 15 to17.
