Vermont pilot publishes first novel

By Janice Wood · April 15, 2009 ·

abovethecloudsVermont pilot Arthur Bernier has drawn on personal experiences to pen his first romantic adventure novel, “Above the Clouds, Beyond the Pain.”

Bernier, a marathoner, entrepreneur, US Coast Guard veteran, and father of six, became a pilot after the death of his wife.

The novel follows pilots Robert and Jillian, who also escape their pain above the clouds.

“Although it is fiction, ‘Above the Clouds, Beyond the Pain’ helped further my healing process,” he said. “I hope my readers will be riveted by a tale of passion and adventure.”

The book is available at Amazon.com.
