BahamasAviator.com launches

By Janice Wood · April 20, 2009 ·

A new website, BahamasAviator.com, has launched.

The website is a video reference portal for new and experienced pilots planning a trip to the Bahamas, according to the website’s developers. The videos offer pilots a research tool, developers note, adding pilots can locate destinations and learn about island life through the site’s videos.

“With such a wide range of destination choices, video is the quickest way to make informed decisions,” developers say.

Videos include interviews by US Customs, Bahamas aviation specialists, EAA, and private pilots who have made the trip. Pilots will receive a clear overview of necessary procedures, flying to the Bahamas and back. The site also has links to other aviation sites.

The site was developed by the same company that produced “Bahamas Pilot Procedures,” a DVD that is distributed at air shows by the Bahamas Tourist Board.
