Air Journey launches tours to Cuba

By Janice Wood · April 28, 2009 ·

Flying adventure specialist Air Journey is adding Cuba to its list of destinations.

The company is now accepting registrations to take a limited number of GA pilots, flying their own airplanes, to Havana.

Trips will depart the U.S. on a Thursday and return the following Monday. Air Journey has arranged special tours of the island, including Old Havana, a Cuban cigar factory, and even a drink at one of Ernest Hemingway’s favorite spots, La Bodequita del Medio.

Air Journey also is finalizing plans for its next around the world expedition, which departs May 11.
