New technology to save your life

By Janice Wood · May 6, 2009 ·

medguardPilots love new technology, especially new technology that can help save their lives.

That’s where My Med Stick comes in.

The device stores all your medical information, personal information, contacts, even your living will, explained Greg Olusczak, territory manager for the company.

Medical information is open to first responders, so if you are injured and can’t communicate, they have access to everything they need to know to save your life.

The device also includes a password protected area, where users can keep copies of vital information, such as insurance and mortgage information. Users can even scan copies of beloved family photos. In the event of a fire or crash, the information is available to you – or your rescuers – right away.

The devices come in a number of variations, including one that can be used by scuba divers under water. Prices state at $19.95.
