Flying Friendly

By Janice Wood · May 28, 2009 ·

A meeting about “Flying Friendly” and noise abatement will be held May 30 at Graham Aviation Services at Salem Municipal Airport (SLE) McNary Field  in Oregon.

The meeting, which begins at 9 a.m., will cover the airport’s officials Fly Friendly/Noise Abatement policy to which all pilots should adhere. Keeping the neighbors friendly to aviation creates less onerous rules for aviators, airport officials note.

Coffee and light morning refreshments provided.

Not a pilot yet? Not a problem. It’s a perfect time to ask your questions about flight training. This is also a great opportunity to socialize and get to know the local pilot community.
