Flightline First opened its new headquarters at New Orleans’ Lakefront Airport on May 28. The company’s $1.5 million renovation of the historic art deco-style terminal building has restored it to its 1934 glory. The elegant facility at Lakefront, in the works for two years, is the only new airport project to be completed in New Orleans since hurricane Katrina, said Pierre Villere, president of Flightline First.

Guests were treated to fine wine, the famous food of New Orleans, lively music, flowers and special gifts. The evening festivities included a wide range of dance tunes from blues and jazz to rock and folk, Villere said. Arriving guests were greeted at the door by ladies adorned in retro flight attendant uniforms, bearing trays of Champagne. NetJets showcased a Gulfstream and a Citation and gave tours to guests during the event.
