The 53rd Annual Tulsa Regional Fly-In, scheduled for September 18 and19 at Bartlesville Municipal Airport (BVO), Bartlesville, Oklahoma has been cancelled, the airport’s management said on June 23.
“The Bartlesville Municipal Airport, also known as Frank Phillips Field, will undergo a complete 6200 ft. main runway overlay beginning June 29 and extending into late October, precluding the possibility of conducting the fly-in and requiring a cancellation for 2009,” the airport’s news release explained.
The 2010 Tulsa Regional Fly-In is scheduled for September 17 and18 of next year. The fly-in leaders are currently planning for that event at Bartlesville Municipal Airport.
